Extended choke tubes provide more room for choke tube geometry, allowing for more gradual tapers and parallel sections that reduce shot formation and promote more uniform patterns. Tight is not enough. The Full Strut is designed to give you a tight, uniform pattern. Uniformity is as important as tightness, as holes and gaps in a pattern can result in bad hits and misses that cannot be explained. Especially when combined with premium ammunition, the full strut has proven to put more pellets with more uniformly in a tight core for more neck and head hits.
