The EX-02 is Hogue’s first liner lock flipper in their folding knife series. It is precision built and finely crafted in the USA by Hogue, Inc. and designed by renowned custom knife maker Allen Elishewitz for optimal performance and reliability. Its stout, tank-like appearance offers power and presence in a distinct and functional package. The blade is made from 154CM stainless that is cryogenically heat-treated and honed by hand to a mirrored finish for exceptional cutting performance. It comes in a flat grind in either a Tanto or Spear Point profile with a 3.375 inch or 3.75 inch blade length. A deep finger groove and strategically placed jimping around the knife’s edges ensure a dependable grip and the end of the handle is pointed for use as an impact tool. Once open the blade is held in place with a strong liner lock. Supported by a quarter inch pivot, oversized stop pin and a robust steel frame, the mechanism offers oustanding reliability and a solid lockup. For added security there is a manual safety that can be engaged to prevent accidental closure when the knife is open and in use. All critical components are heat treated for toughness and fitted with our custom hardware. For convenient carry and quick access there is a tip up or down pocket clip and a hidden lanyard pin. Each Hogue knife is backed by three generations of Hogue manufacturing experience and our limited lifetime warranty.
