The NcSTAR UHMWPE Hard Ballistic Plate is made with UHMWPE fabrics and pressed with a a proprietary technique to create a lighter plate. Duable Polyurea is sprayed on outer coating protects and fully seals the UHMWPE plate for corrosion protection, structural enhancement, waterproofing, abrasion resistance, and for a nice cosmetic appearance. It is rated at level IIIA protection which is capable of stopping 9mm and .44 mag rounds up to 1400 fps as tested in accordance with Level IIA Standard 0101.06. This plate does not offer rifle ammunition protection. This plate will provide protection against the following special threats cartridges: 9mm 115 gr FMJ Fiocchi, 9mm 127 gr plus P plus SXT, .40 cal 95 gr HP SW, 5.7x28mm 27 gr LFHP SS195, 5.7 x 28mm 28 GrHP SS192, 5.7 x 28mm 40 gr V-MAX SS197SR Hornady, 7.62 x 25mm 95 gr FMJ Tokarev, .375 SIG 115 gr JHP, .357 cal 125 gr HP SIG Gold Dot, and .357 cal 125 gr FMJ SIG FN. The multi-curved design fits the user with greater comfort and the angle cut upper corners allow for better mobility. This plate also protects against knives, edged blades, and spike weapons that offers that earer the best possible stab protection available. This plate is ideal for use in Vism plate carriers.
