This Vism Ballistic shield is constructed from UHMWPEK and is manufactured using a special pressing technique to create lighter ballistic shield. This shield is is rated for Level IIIA and features a human trapezoid silhouette shape. Two angled grab handles with rubber grips allow for left or right-handed carry use and two hook and loop straps allow for the forearm support. Padded forearm backrests provide standoff protection against ballistic impact backface deformation. It includes an adjustable shoulder strap for easier hands free carrying option. This shield is rugged, reliable, stress fracture resistant, and maintenance free. It also features durable wearing hard edge protection. The shield is 19.9 in W x 30 in H x 4 in D and weighs 6.7 pounds.
